An inclusive approach to connecting the clinical and holistic practices of health and wellbeing.
I was inspired to establish Holistic Therapeutics as I found that many modern strategies to improve health are clinically focused and often don’t include the other elements such as wellbeing, or consider our lived experiences and identity. I wanted to use my wealth of clinical experience and massage expertise to connect all aspects of health to provide a holistic approach to improving health and wellbeing.
Massage can be a powerful tool to help you improve your health and well-being, whether you have a specific health condition or are just looking to reduce anxiety.
Massage therapy can speed up the healing process, improve circulation, restore emotional balance and help to relieve the impact chronic conditions can have on the body and mind. Beyond the physical benefits for specific conditions or diseases, some people enjoy massage because it often produces feelings of caring, comfort and connection. Massage can be an important element in promoting recovery and achieving balance however it should be used along side medical care if required and not be a replacement. It is important to work with your medical team as recovery, and wellness is a holistic process which should incorporate clinical and non clinical approaches.
Being part of the LGBTQ+ community myself I understand that we can have specific needs and can often experience barriers when accessing massage services. I am experienced in the complexities specific to the LGBTQ+ community, and provide a space where anyone can come and be exactly who you are without fear of judgement or prejudice.

How massage can help you
I focus on a holistic approach to health and wellbeing, meaning that I provide support and treatment based on you as a whole person, rather than just an illness or condition you may have.
I take into account the roles that mind, body and spirit play in our health, but also wider societal power structures and develop approaches that are tailored to suit your needs.
Bodywork is the process of working with the human body using a range of manipulative therapy techniques, such as deep tissue, Indian head and holistic softer strokes massage, alongside other practices such as breathwork.
The process takes into account physical, emotional or energetic imbalances, creating custom solutions to suit each individual person.
Massage therapy is often used to reduce pain and anxiety resulting from a trauma. For many people, touch can be a foreign experience, a reminder of past trauma and something which feels threatening. Using Trusted Touch Therapy®, I provide compassionate, consensual, therapeutic touch. Trusted touch can be suitable for anyone, in particular those who are lonely, touch-deprived, disabled, elderly, medically fragile, or at the end of life.
Care plans & aftercare
I build care plans that are tailor-made to suit the needs of my clients, putting particular focus on the areas that they need the most support with. The aftercare packages ensure that you come away with a clear understanding of how to maintain your therapies as well as solutions for ongoing support wherever necessary.
